Xumeng Zhang (b. 2001) is a curator and writer based in New York and Beijing. Her practice focuses on the intersection of contemporary art, mental health, and community-based collaboration. She has previously worked with LATITUDE Gallery New York and Hive Center for Contemporary Art, and has curated exhibitions at the Shanghai Mental Health Center.
These experiences shaped her ongoing interest in connecting artistic practice with psychological and emotional well-being. Her curatorial work pays particular attention to marginalized communities and underrepresented voices, emphasizing long-term, equitable collaboration as a way to create space for more nuanced and resonant forms of expression.
Zhang received her BFA from the School of Visual Arts and her MS from Northwestern University.
